We recently flew a crew into a remote island in Desolation Sound to rough in 3 completely off-grid cabins at a retreat/resort. Solar panels and generators run this spectacular get away location. It was a wonderful change of pace from the hectic city scene and the crew thoroughly enjoyed their stay. The host treated them to evening fishing trips and they feasted on fresh caught fish and prawns for 2 weeks! We look forward to returning to put on the finishing touches on the cabins when construction is complete – and do some more fishing!

Some other projects on the go include a 10,000 square foot daycare, and a wonderful new custom home.  We have also been doing a lot of service upgrade, from 60 or 100 amp to 200 amp.  So many more electronic gadgets, heaters, hot tubs, saunas and EV chargers to consider now, as opposed to when these homes were originally built! Our experienced and talented teams love a challenge and each project is met with enthusiasm, dedication and superior workmanship throughout the project, no matter how big or how small.

Our service department is always on the run doing 4-5 calls a day, everything from installing a light, wiring in a new appliance, repairing, and replacing worn out items such as plugs, switches, fans and more. Of course, as the weather changes to cooler conditions the focus has switched from air conditioners and ceiling fans to baseboard heaters and in floor heating. Patio heaters are becoming very popular in these COVID times, as more people are entertaining outdoors, responsibly keeping friends and family safe while still being able to get together and stay warm on these chilly days and evenings.
